India is a country with a diversity of religious beliefs and practices but we share one culture. We love our festivals.
I decided to draw 'festival of the month'. I am more familiar with the symbols and colours related to Hindu festivals so this year is for Hindu festivals.
This is a great challenge for me because I am trying to push myself out of my comfort zone. Changing illustration style, trying a bit of animation, using different shades of colours that are normally used for our festivals, and generally trying to draw/design something different.
These illustrations are more about the Indian culture, rather than depicting a religion.
